The Singapore Corporate Counsel Association’s (SCCA) Annual Black Tie event proved to be its usual highlight on the social calendar for the legal community at the new Philippe Starck-designed JW Marriott, South Beach Hotel.
The Annual Black Tie 2017 was particularly momentous as it marked the 15th year of the SCCA and the introduction of the inaugural Singapore Chief Legal Officer Awards.
The Singapore CLO Awards seek to recognize the contribution of chief legal officers in Singapore to the work of their board of directors or senior management team of their organizations.
There were two categories in the inaugural awards: chief legal officer in a Singapore listed company; and chief legal officer of the Singapore regional office of a multinational company.
