Rajiv Gupta, a lawyer in Latham & Watkins’ India practice, was among 30 associates elected to be partners from 1 January.
Gupta is a corporate attorney in the firm’s Singapore office. He has extensive experience in corporate and other finance transactions, representing both issuers and underwriters in public and private, high yield and investment grade, convertible debt and equity offerings.
Michael Sturrock, chair of the corporate department in the Singapore office of Latham & Watkins, said, “Rajiv’s promotion to the partnership recognizes his track record, advising on some of the most complex deals in the South and Southeast Asia markets, and his technical prowess.
