Associates Meher Mehta and Oishika Dasgupta have been promoted as counsel at S&R Associates in the firm’s New Delhi and Mumbai offices, respectively.
Mehta, who previously worked at Link Legal, is experienced in M&A, joint ventures, foreign investment, regulatory compliance and general corporate affairs.
She has a strong focus on the infrastructure sector, providing notable and comprehensive expertise in airports, renewable energy and telecommunications.
Dasgupta focuses on equity and debt capital markets, regulatory and general corporate matters. She has advised issuers, investment banks and shareholders on a range of capital markets transactions.
She previously worked with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co in Mumbai and New Delhi, and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai.
