Around 30 members of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Hong Kong shared ideas while sampling bubbly at a Meet the Board and Champagne Tasting Event on 9 March at the White Cube Gallery Hong Kong.
It was the ACC HK Membership Engagement Committee’s first event for 2023. While sampling a range of different champagnes, members shared ideas to contribute to the in-house legal profession in Hong Kong, what the association should focus on and how to join the board committee.
“It was the first in-person event the membership engagement committee had been able to hold in the past couple of years due to covid-19, so we were very excited about it,” Giselle Bates, a board member of the ACC Hong Kong and the group general counsel – APAC at talent management firm Allegis Group, told Asia Business Law Journal.
“We sampled and learnt about a range of Leroy Duval champagnes presented by East Meets West Fine Wines and went on an impromptu guided tour of the gallery and its latest exhibitions,” Bates added.
