K&L Gates Straits Law, the Singapore office of K&L Gates, has strengthened its litigation and dispute resolution practice with the hiring of Joan Lim-Casanova as a partner.
She left Cavenagh Law, which has a formal alliance with Clifford Chance in Singapore, where she was a partner for almost two years after joining a decade ago.
Lim-Casanova is experienced in contentious work and dispute resolution, with an emphasis on commercial litigation and international arbitration, representing and advising multinational clients in the resolution of high-value and complex disputes in various industry sectors.
She regularly acts for and advises Chinese private and state-owned entities to manage and avoid disputes.
