Baker McKenzie has advised Univenture BGP, a joint venture between Thailand’s real estate company Univentures and energy developer B.Grimm Power, on its THB11.33 billion (USD351.5 million) acquisition of power plant operator Eastern Cogeneration Company (E-Cogen).
Baker’s team in Bangkok advised Univenture BGP on various aspects of the acquisition, covering the establishment of the joint venture, M&A, acquisition finance and land law. The team was led by corporate and M&A partner Sumet Orsirivikorn.
