J Sagar Associates (JSA) has hired Nandini Mehta as a retained partner in its Mumbai office. Mehta moved from Vidhii Partners where she helped build a specialized media, entertainment, sports and technology practice.
Mehta has advised studios, production houses, distributors, exhibitors and others on new media issues, particularly on content dissemination through mobile phones, the internet and integrated system-platform products. She has also advised on aspects of production and syndication for over 300 films produced in India, Hollywood and smaller European markets, and has worked with independent producers, directors, actors, music composers and other players in the film industry.
