Maples Group has hired two partners to expand its global dispute resolution and insolvency practice. Nick Stern joined in the firm’s Hong Kong office while Quentin Cregan joined in the Cayman Islands.
Stern has moved from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hong Kong, where he was a counsel for almost 12 years. He has more than 20 years’ experience working on multi-jurisdictional, insolvency and restructuring-related disputes. Stern’s arrival is expected to support the group’s international clients across Asia, particularly with an increase in restructuring and insolvency matters in the region.
