On 2 December, Norton Rose Group confirmed that Peter Martyr would continue as its Group Chief Executive from 1 January 2012, the same day that leading Canadian law firm Macleod Dixon was to join the group.
Peter Martyr has led the recent growth of Norton Rose Group. From 1 January, the group will have more than 2,900 lawyers in 43 offices throughout Europe, Asia Pacific, Canada, Africa, Central Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
“The last three years have been exciting for the group. We have been fortunate in finding strong businesses around the world that wanted to join in with our vision of the future,” said Martyr.
