Offshore law firm Carey Olsen hired James Noble as partner to lead the development of the firm’s litigation, insolvency and restructuring offering in Asia. It also hired Amelia Tan, an associate, to the team.
Noble, specializing in British Virgin Islands (BVI) and Cayman Islands law, was most recently the managing partner of the Singapore office of Harneys, an offshore law firm.
Noble has nearly 20 years of experience in high-value shareholder litigation, cross-border enforcement, insolvency, disputes (commercial, trust and estate) and asset recovery. He acts in high-profile and leading market cases, particularly in connection with Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE) listed companies. He has been based in Asia since 2012; first in Hong Kong and then Singapore since 2018.
