Withers KhattarWong, the Singapore office of international law firm Withers, has hired private funds and cross-border investment specialist Daniel Yong as a partner.
Yong joins Withers from Morgan Lewis alongside a team of two associates. He has also worked at Norton Rose and Jones Day. He advises private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and corporate clients on regulatory and licensing issues affecting fund managers to fund formation, as well as cross-border M&A and private equity investment transactions in the Asia-Pacific region, including India and China.
“Daniel brings skills that really help to fill out our corporate offering in Singapore and Asia,” said Jeremy Wakeham, CEO of Withers’ global business division.
