Norton Rose Fulbright announced that senior international arbitrator Andrew Battisson has joined as a partner in Sydney.
Battisson joined from Allen & Overy, where he was the partner for international arbitration practice in Singapore. He brings experience in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration, with a particular focus on disputes in the finance, energy, infrastructure and telecoms sectors.
He has advised energy and corporate clients on contractual, joint venture, infrastructure and investment treaty disputes across Asia, Africa and Europe, and has acted for international banks involving emerging market counterparties under both national and international law in Asia, India, Europe and South America.
