On 10 February, 90 lawyers debated a range of issues affecting the career development of women at a conference called Women Lawyers in India.
Held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, the one-day event was organized and sponsored by Indian law firm PSA Legal Counsellors, with the support of US-based Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal.
Speakers and panellists included Susan Manch, an experienced consultant in leadership development and training programmes for lawyers in the US; Varya Simpson, a member of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal’s corporate practice in San Francisco; Noor Meurling, a senior foreign legal consultant with Indonesian firm Soebagjo Jatim Djarot and an international partner of Blake Dawson; and Priti Suri, the proprietor of Delhi-based PSA Legal Counsellors.
