On 4 June, Vaish Associates announced a comprehensive reconstitution of its management structure, promoting nine of its key associates to the partnership.
“We have been deliberating this restructuring for some time as we wanted to offer our key practitioners a more inclusive and participatory role in the management of the firm,” said managing partner Ajay Vohra. “With broad-based management participation, the firm [will] be able to enhance its service delivery capabilities and develop new practice areas more aggressively”.
In New Delhi, the firm’s new partners include Rupesh Jain from the direct tax department; Neeraj Jain from the direct tax and transfer pricing practice; Shammi Kapoor from the indirect tax practice; Satwinder Singh, a corporate, banking and capital markets lawyer; and Vijay Pal Dalmia from the intellectual property department.
