Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton’s newest top-tier recruit has definite plans to add value to the firm, bringing with him a team of talent to aid in expanding the firm’s commercial arm in China.

E W Gentry Sayad, formerly managing partner in Shanghai for Fredrikson & E W Gentry Sayad Byron, joins Kilpatrick Townsend’s Shanghai office as co-chair of Asia practice, working with the firm’s mergers and acquisitions and securities team. Sayad represents multinational Fortune 500 companies, public and private companies, and government agencies, primarily advising on the array of business issues they face while conducting business in China.
He told China Business Law Journal the team he is bringing across from Fredrikson is geared towards expanding Kilpatrick’s commercial practice.
