The Law Point (TLP) has promoted Abhishek Puri and Omprakash Jha to the firm’s partnership in its New Delhi and Mumbai offices, respectively.
Puri joined the firm in 2017 and is experienced in corporate and commercial disputes, and non-litigious matters including financial closure, agreements and contracts, and M&A.
Jha joined the firm in 2008 and focuses on dispute resolution before various courts and forums, where he advises clients on commercial and criminal law.
Puri has represented clients before the Supreme Court, high courts, and Competition Commission of India. He represented the Formento Group in a dispute following which mining was allowed in the Goa state after two years.
