Squire Patton Boggs has hired Singapore-based transactional lawyers Ivan Chia and Perth-based litigation lawyer Hazel Brewer in its corporate practice, and commodities and shipping industry group.
Chia and Brewer joined from Holman Fenwick Willan, where both were partners for more than three and 14 years, respectively.
Dual-qualified in Singapore and England, Chia focuses on renewable energy and infrastructure. He has advised on development, procurement, joint venture and M&A transactions for projects involving onshore and offshore renewable energy assets, and other infrastructure projects across Asia.
Brewer has 30 years’ experience in shipping, offshore, international trade and marine insurance. Her offshore practice includes contract advisory work and handling contentious matters for vessels, charter parties, and the transport and carriage of export commodities.
