Singapore law firm Shook Lin & Bok has appointed Azmul Haque as a corporate partner. Haque will co-head the firm’s India practice, with partner Sriram Chakravarthi.

Haque is qualified to practise both Indian and English law and has a decade of transactional experience. He began his career at DSK Legal in Mumbai before moving to Singapore to work with WongPartnership and subsequently Berwin Leighton Paisner.
At Berwin Leighton Paisner, Haque worked in the corporate finance team on a variety of matters including cross‐border M&A and finance and commercial transactions involving India and Southeast Asia. He has worked with Indian clients expanding overseas as well as regional multinationals investing in India and the Asian region in sectors such as telecoms, commodities and real estate.
