SGLA Law Firm has opened a new office in Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu province, to establish its presence across the northwest region and is the 13th branch of the Shanghai-based firm.
The firm has appointed Huo Jidong as head of the Lanzhou office to guide the new team in focusing on services in non-performing assets, commercial litigation, capital markets, labour law, administrative law and intellectual property.
Since the end of last year, law firms have deployed offices in the northwestern cities to open up the local market and the regions along the Belt and Road Initiative.
