The Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA) in collaboration with DL & F De Saram, Luminance & Straits Clan used a screening for the critically acclaimed film (Dis)Honesty: The Truth About Lies, to help introduce the association’s Code of Ethics and Standards.

Appropriately the film explores the very human tendency to bend and obfuscate the truth for one’s own benefit, and presents a nuanced case for our deceit, with our justification for lying not as straightforward as it may seem.
Following the screening the SCCA Code of Ethics and Standards was launched by the SCCA’s president emeritus, Angeline Lee. The code was devised to illustrate the ethical duties and responsibilities that are expected from the in-house community. The association believes that the basic tenets of this code of conduct will serve any member of the SCCA or in-house counsel well in his/her profession.
