Noida-based IP boutique Saikrishna & Associates has hired Monica Datta as a partner. Datta had previously been a partner at Luthra & Luthra and before that she had worked at Anand and Anand.
Speaking to India Business Law Journal, Datta said she was impressed by Saikrishna & Associates’ leadership across industry sectors and its reputed litigation and prosecution practice, which she hoped would allow her to leverage her own transactional and prosecution skills.
“While Luthra & Luthra is a great place with a very good IP practice, personally, I see Saikrishna & Associates as becoming one of India’s best ‘all weather IP practices’,” she said.
