Hemant Sahai stepped down as the managing partner of HSA Advocates on 1 May, handing the reins to Amitabh Sharma, a former partner at Khaitan & Co.
Sharma will be based in Mumbai, but HSA said that his role would not be limited by geography. In addition to regular client servicing, he will also drive the firm’s strategies, growth, operations and client outreach, together with the firm’s 20 other partners and associate partners.
