Introduction

Robert Hasan is currently a partner of IABF Law Firm, a leading full-service Indonesian law firm. His corporate and commercial practice areas cover telecommunications, media and information technology, M&A, banking and finance, and foreign investment. He is known to have deep technology and transactional sector experiences and assisted multinational corporations and state-owned government companies with acquisitions, investments and joint ventures.

Hasan’s works as a corporate lawyer have received global recognition, including from Legal 500, Chambers Global, Chambers Asia-Pacific, IFLR1000, Asian Legal Business, Asia Business Law Journal and Asia Law. One of Indonesia’s largest legal media, Hukum Online, wrote, “Robert Hasan proves that young person can excel as a legal practitioner”.

He is an active member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia) and a certified data protection officer of the Indonesia Data Privacy Professional Association (Asosiasi Profesional Privasi Data Indonesia or APPDI). He received his law degree from the Faculty of Law,

Pelita Harapan University and regularly invested his time to share his legal knowledge with the current students at the faculty.
