Three new partners have joined Reed Smith in mainland China and Hong Kong to bolster the firm’s expertise in regulatory enforcement and litigation.
Dora Wang joined the firm as a partner in its global regulatory enforcement practice, and will be based in its Shanghai and New York offices. She is a US and UK-trained lawyer with extensive regulatory compliance and white-collar investigation experience.
She advises multinational corporations on antitrust and competition matters, cybersecurity and data privacy laws, anti-corruption/anti-bribery issues, due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, compliance audit and policy formulation and implementation, and dispute resolution matters.
Mark West also joined the firm as a partner in its Hong Kong litigation practice. West has extensive experience in advising and representing Hong Kong-listed companies, multinational companies and high net worth individuals in a wide array of regulatory investigations, high-value and complex commercial litigation and arbitration, white collar crimes and fraud investigations.
Also in Hong Kong, Reed Smith hired Stephen Chan as a partner in its litigation practice. Chan was previously a dispute resolution partner in the Hong Kong office of Oldham Lie & Nie.
He focuses on commercial litigation, international arbitration, intellectual property litigation, employment and labour disputes, and white-collar crime.
