Commercial and international disputes specialist Kyri Evagora has been appointed Asia managing partner for Reed Smith, effective from 1 July.
Evagora will also continue to serve as vice-chair of Reed Smith’s business and finance department, Asia-Pacific head of strategy and on the firm’s executive committee.

Evagora has been with Reed Smith in New York since 1997, relocating to Singapore in 2020 to take over from Denise Jong, who had been Asia-Pacific managing partner since 1 January 2018. Jong, based in Hong Kong, will remain co-chair of the firm’s global corporate group and will focus on advising clients on corporate transactions and investments, mainly in Greater China and Southeast Asia.
