CR Asia, the majority shareholder of Contract Resources Petrochem Services (India), recently acquired the 40% shareholding in the Indian company that was held by its Indian partners. With this Contract Resources Petrochem Services (India) becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of CR Asia, Singapore, through which the transaction was made.
Sandeep Mehta, a Mumbai-based M&A partner at J Sagar Associates, and Neha Bhatia, a senior associate at the same office, represented CR Asia, Singapore.
Amish Shroff, a senior associate at Rajani Associates, represented the Indian shareholders – Skynet Worldwide Express and two individual shareholders who had been responsible for day-to-day management of the Indian company.
