Pinsent Masons has announced a long-term cooperation arrangement with Beijing Hesen Law Firm that will boost its projects and construction practice in China.

Beijing Hesen Law Firm is led by construction lawyers Ye Wanhe and Elvis Zhou, who were previously partners at Deheng Law Offices. Ye and Zhou set up Hesen in at the end of December last year.
“This cooperation will allow us to make available a level of experience that has not previously been available to construction companies in China,” said Ye.

Meanwhile, intellectual property specialist Jenny Luo is joining Pinsent Masons in Shanghai as a senior associate. Luo joins from Rouse in Beijing, where she was an international patent attorney. Her practice centres on patent prosecution, litigation and transactions in the life sciences sector. She will join Li Kening’s China intellectual property team in the Pinsent Masons Shanghai office.
