The Central Committee of the Communist Party and the State Council jointly issued an Opinion on the Construction of Harmonious Labour Relations on 21 March.
The opinion reinforces that senior leadership are placing more focus on the issues surrounding China’s increasingly agitated workforce, and are taking current unrest within the workforce seriously.
