Singapore’s international arbitration expert Paul Tan has moved to Gibson Dunn & Crutcher as a partner and head of international arbitration practice in Asia.
Tan was previously a partner and head of litigation in Southeast Asia at Singapore’s boutique dispute resolution law firm Cavenagh Law, a formal law alliance of Clifford Chance Asia, for more than two years.
Prior to that, he spent almost eight years at Rajah & Tann, where he was a partner in its appeals and issues practice.
Focusing on disputes across Asia, Tan practices commercial and investor-state international arbitration and litigation, including arbitration-related litigation, and has extensive experience advising on complex issues of public and private international law in a wide range of industries. He regularly advises multinational organisations, global insurers, financial institutions and Asian governments.
