Norton Rose Fulbright has elected Gerry Pecht as global chief executive, effective from 1 January 2021. Pecht will succeed Peter Martyr, who has led Norton Rose, and then Norton Rose Fulbright, since 2002.
Houston-based Pecht, who is a 40-year veteran with the firm, has led its dispute resolution and litigation practice since 2014.
He has represented publicly traded companies in the US and internationally, as well as their officers and directors, and his commercial litigation practice focuses on securities litigation and enforcement, energy litigation, internal corporate investigations, and international litigation and arbitration.
