The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) has appointed Shwetha Bidhuri as its head of South Asia. She succeeds Pranav Mago who worked in the role for three and a half years.

Bidhuri will be based in Mumbai and oversee SIAC’s liaison offices in Mumbai and GIFT City, Gujarat. “[My role involves] promoting institutional arbitration tools and to encourage parties to adopt SIAC for effective resolution of disputes,” she told India Business Law Journal. “But there are many more responsibilities that come along with the role.”
