Baker McKenzie’s Taipei office principal, Grace Shao, has won election as president of the Taipei Bar Association.

The Taipei Bar is the largest professional body for lawyers in Taiwan, with members accounting for more than 70% of Taiwan’s practising lawyers.
Its functions are to protect human rights, engineer social reform, provide professional training and champion the public interest.
