Top talent from some of China’s most prestigious law firms have joined forces to form AnJie Law Firm, which opens its doors for business and launches its official website at the end of October.
Twelve founders, including 10 lawyers and two senior counsel, come from the top tier of Chinese firms, including Grandall Law Firm, Zhong Lun Law Firm, Mingtai Law Firm, Jin Tai Law Firm and Zhonglun W&D Law Firm, as well as foreign counsel, a former judge and a former ministry undersecretary.
Zhan Hao, the new firm’s managing partner and former executive partner at Grandall, said many of the founders were managing or executive partners in their previous positions and most had attained an overseas education or experience with international firms, while some were also admitted to the bar in the US, UK and South Korea.
