White & Case’s head of greater China dispute resolution practice, Melody Chan, has left the firm to join Allen & Overy as a partner in Hong Kong.
In her previous law firm, Chan was also a partner for six years after joining as counsel in 2012.
Chan is a dispute lawyer focusing on complex, high-value, multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation, debt enforcement and insolvency work, international arbitration and ancillary matters across investigations, antitrust and data privacy.
With a longstanding track record of advising clients with China-related business operations on cross-border disputes, Chan is experienced in advising clients in the energy, construction and technology, media and telecoms sectors.
