Cooley’s Shanghai office welcomed partner Li Ruomu to bolster the firm’s capabilities in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions.
Li started her career at Fenwick & West Law Firm in San Francisco in the US and then joined the Hong Kong office of Davis Polk. After returning to Fenwick & West for a while, she joined Morrison & Foerster as a partner in 2019.
With nearly 16 years of practice experience, Li focuses on mergers and acquisitions, take-private transactions, divestitures, spinoffs, and joint ventures.
Cooley said her experience fits with the firm’s position in the life sciences industries and technology sector.
