Job Description
1. Contribute to the development of regulations to extend labour and social protection to workers facing exclusion, particularly those in the platform economy.
2. Develop legal and policy-oriented research on decent work in the platform economy.
3. Review national legislation and practices related to platform work.
4. Facilitate tripartite consultations on industrial relations in the platform economy.
5. Develop a network with Chinese academia on decent work in the platform economy.
Job Requirements
– Master’s or equivalent in law or labour law or Bachelor’s plus nine years of experience.
– Seven years of practical experience in labour laws and labour relations.
– English and either French or Spanish. Chinese is an asset.
– Knowledge of regulation, comparative law and compliance mechanisms as well as the platform economy. Ability to provide technical and legal advice.
