Job Description
Our client, a Fortune 500 industrial company, is looking to recruit a Legal Counsel to cover its operations in Asia, focusing on the Taiwan market. As the Legal Counsel, you will work closely with Asia’s General Counsel and legal team and be responsible for providing legal and compliance support on litigation, contractual, corporate, acquisitions, and regulatory matters related to their business operations.
Job Requirements
- Ideally, you are a Taiwan-qualified lawyer with cultural assimilation and 6-10 PQE in Competition Law, export licensing, and compliance issues.
- The ability to handle a wide range of complex contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, authorities is essential.
- Prior Taiwan-based experience in litigation and commercial legal matters is highly desirable.
- Fluency in written and verbal English and Mandarin Chinese are essential, as well as the willingness to travel. REF: CN461/VTA
