Our services

Based in Bangkok, the R&T Asia (Thailand) Limited (R&T) team has an impressive base of international, regional and local clients, with many years of experience in advising on a range of Thai law matters, including representing clients in civil, criminal or administrative proceedings, international and domestic arbitration, government investigations and compliance proceedings, structuring foreign direct investment and mergers and acquisitions involving private or listed companies, and general corporate commercial matters for foreign investors in Thailand.

The team has a particular expertise in representing clients in highly regulated industries, such as banking & finance, food & beverage, insurance, manufacturing and infrastructure, and can provide full-support in large-scale litigation, transactions and investigations. The team is also well-known for its experience in technology, media and telecoms areas, gaining instructions from some of the world’s most prominent tech companies and domestic telecoms providers in nascent areas such as over-the-top services and data privacy.

Headed by former judge Surasak Vajasit, the team comprises members who have been highly recognised in various fields by a number of prestigious publications such as Asia Law, Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, IFLR1000 and Who’s Who Legal. The team won Thailand Tax Disputes Firm of the Year in the ITR (International Tax Review) Asia-Pacific Tax Awards 2021.
