Tanu Banerjee has joined Khaitan & Co as a partner in the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) practice at the firm’s Mumbai office.
Banerjee joins from IndusLaw, where she was a partner and had worked since 2017. With more than 12 years of experience, she specialises in corporate and commercial laws, venture capital and private equity transactions, business restructuring, technology collaborations, joint ventures, media partnerships and arrangements, business transfers, and regulatory and policy work.
Banerjee has worked closely with technology and media companies ranging from software companies, technology start-ups, AI-based businesses, over-the-top (OTT) platforms, media houses, digital companies, broadcasters, productions houses and film makers.
She started her professional career with Reliance ADA Group, and also worked with DSK Legal and Wadia Ghandy & Co.
