Ankit Khushu, a senior associate at Kachwaha & Partners, has been elevated to the firm’s partnership with effect from 1 April. With Khushu’s promotion the firm now has four partners.
“Our firm believes in organic growth,” Sumeet Kachwaha, the managing partner of the firm, told India Business Law Journal. “We do not take on partners through the lateral hire route and therefore this is big news for us.”
Khushu, who has been with the firm for a decade and worked on both contentious and non-contentious matters, said she was “extremely delighted” and looked forward to her new role.
