Jaiprakash Power Ventures has signed an agreement to hive off its 500-megawatt coal-fired thermal power plant in Bina, Madhya Pradesh, through a scheme of arrangement under sections 391-394 of the Companies Act, 1956, to its Bina Power Supply (BPSL) subsidiary.
