Sunil Jain, a former senior associate at AZB & Partners, has joined J Sagar Associates (JSA) as a partner in its Gurgaon office. Jain boasts significant experience in direct taxation and international tax work and will be responsible for launching JSA’s direct tax practice.
Jain’s experience includes advising on the elimination of permanent establishment exposure and issues relating to taxation of royalties, the tax-efficient structuring of strategic foreign investments in India and the direct and indirect tax benefits of developing special economic zones (SEZs) and establishing business units within them.
