Partner Jeffrey Lee, with the support of colleague Simon Green, will launch and head the new Singapore office for Charles Russell Speechlys (CRS), the second in this region after Hong Kong, to strengthen its presence in Asia.
Lee and Green, a partner who is the head of Asia leading the real estate, hotels and hospitality practice, will split their time between Singapore and Hong Kong, cultivating the new businesses together and growing their respective teams.
Having practiced in the UK for several years, Lee specialises in cross-border tax planning, especially in assisting non-UK domiciled persons moving to the UK on the structuring of their affairs to achieve tax efficiency. He also advises on complex international structuring, including estate and succession planning, asset protection and personal tax mitigation.
He is also a registered foreign lawyer in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Green has been with CRS for 12 years, and takes charge of real estate affairs in Hong Kong and Dubai. With more than 10 years of experience working and living in the Middle East, Green has built strong connections, and advises Asian clients on their commercial and residential property.
As an expert in the real estate and construction practice, Green is familiar with large-scale mixed-use development and redevelopment projects, commercial and residential property investments, real estate management, as well as real estate finance.
