Anew youth education programme launched at the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 134th annual meeting from 5 May to 9 May in Washington may find its way to China if it proves successful in the US.

The “Unreal” campaign aims to educate teenagers and raise awareness about trademark value and the negative effects of counterfeiting and IP theft.
When asked if China may be included in the campaign, an INTA spokeswoman said: “Yes, in the future, though we do not know when. Right now, Unreal is focusing on teens in the United States. After we have assessed the programme, we plan to expand to another region in the world. That region is to be determined.”
