Introduction

Vishal Gandhi, a first generation lawyer, founded Gandhi & Associates in 2003 at the relatively young age of 28. He was probably one of the youngest founders of a law firm in Indian history. Having an entrepreneurial mindset and wanting to focus on quality work, he left his cushy job with a leading Indian law firm and took the plunge. Since then he has been trusted by leading multinationals and institutions of the world, including Fortune 100 companies.

Vishal is a corporate/M&A lawyer, but also has a deep insight and knowledge also of intellectual property laws, tax laws and arbitration and litigation. This makes him unique as a lawyer in many aspects. He even argues matters in the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court, at times, and has had a great track record in this regard. His focus remains on cross-border transactional work such as M&A, venture capital, private equity, joint ventures, SPACs and international listings.
