Introduction

Abhimanyu Bhattacharya is a partner in the capital markets team at Khaitan & Co, based out of the Mumbai office. His expertise lies in advising clients on a wide range of capital markets transactions such as initial public offerings (IPOs); qualified institutional placements; InvITs/REITs; rights issues; GDRs/ADRs; issuance and restructuring of FCCBs; and the issuance of high-yield notes.

He has worked on the IPOs of One97 Communications Limited (Paytm), Vedant Fashions (Manyavar), Aditya Birla Sunlife Asset Management, Sterling & Wilson Solar, Bandhan Bank, HDFC Asset Management, SBI Life Insurance Company Limited, Metropolis Healthcare, GIC Re, Eris Lifesciences Limited and Mahindra Logistics Limited; the institutional placement programme by InterGlobe Aviation Limited (Indigo); and qualified institutional placements by Bajaj Finance, among others.
