With more than 22 years of experience in the legal, secretarial and compliance domain, Manoj Bhargava, the group general counsel, company secretary and compliance officer, spearheads the legal, secretarial, corporate social responsibility and regulatory functions of IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, one of India’s largest online B2B marketplaces, as well as its group of companies.

Manoj has supported various established business groups of India in the past while heading their legal functions. In his five years at the helm of IndiaMART’s legal, secretarial and CSR team, he has commanded unparalleled expertise and enthusiasm with his positive attitude and never letting-go approach towards life. The team consists of 12 professionals from law and management to company secretary.

The team includes principal legal counsel Danish Ali Khan, who has been with IndiaMART for more than 16 years, and assistant legal counsel Anshika Goel. They manage matters relating to advocacy and government relations, as well as IPR disputes.

Legal counsel Neeraj Arora joined the organisation in 2017 and has seven years of experience in law. Neeraj, along with – assistant legal counsel Diksha Dubey and Vyomica Paul, cater to diverse matters involving litigation and dispute resolution.

His team members Bhavar Jashnani and Aditi Jajodia, also assistant legal counsel, have handled corporate, transactional and fintech matters at IndiaMART, dealing with the company’s numerous strategic investments. Vasudha Bagri, a manager under the secretarial function, primarily manages the capital market and regulatory compliances for IndiaMART and the group. She has a broad résumé of experience with more than 10 years at reputed corporates before she joined the company in June 2021. Vasudha, along with senior executive Bharat Sachdev and executive Aastha Tandon are engaged in managing secretarial compliance for IndiaMART and the group’s companies. The team concluded a INR1 billion buyback of the company’s securities.

Furthermore, Shivani Mathur and Sarika Singh are secretarial management trainees at IndiaMART and assist the whole team on all corporate assignments. They play an active role in the monitoring and reporting of compliance at the organisational level.
