Introduction

Karthik Kumar has acted on major infrastructure projects, M&A and financing transactions in the Asia Pacific region since 2003. Karthik acts for a wide variety of clients including developers, sponsors, borrowers, and financial institutions on a range of infrastructure related projects and financing transactions with a focus on the renewable energy sector.

He is highly regarded for his in-depth regulatory knowledge and significant transactional experience in South East Asia particularly in India. He recently advised UPL Limited in connection with its US$4.2 billion acquisition of Arysta Lifescience Inc.
