Hogan Lovells has re-hired international finance specialist Charlie Clayton-Payne from Harneys Hong Kong as a partner in its Singapore corporate and finance practice.
Clayton-Payne was previously based in Hogan Lovells’ Singapore office until 27 February 2019, and was pivotal in establishing its banking team.
During his first tenure with the firm, he undertook a year-long secondment at Standard Chartered Bank, working with the loan structuring and syndication teams and providing the firm with a greater understanding of banking client needs.
With experience across industry sectors and geographies in Asia, Clayton-Payne advises borrowers and financial institutions on structures including cross-border, sponsor-backed acquisition financings, capital call facilities, syndicated secured lending, structured lending, leveraged finance and debt restructurings.
