Han Kun Law Offices has hired Raymond Shi as a Beijing-headquartered partner to bolster its capital markets division.
Shi, who was a partner at Tian Yuan Law Firm, specialises in domestic and overseas capital markets, PE/VC, M&A, and restructuring, with a focus on technology, media and telecoms (TMT), the healthcare, finance, new energy, semiconductor and high-end manufacturing sectors.
He has cross-jurisdictional expertise in finance and tax, and experience acting as PRC counsel to underwriters – including Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, UBS and China Renaissance Securities – on the Chindata Group’s USD620 million Nasdaq listing in 2020.
Leveraging on his previous achievements, Shi was selected by China Business Law Journal as a Rising Star 2023.
